Graduate Medical Education

As directed by the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA), ACOM will annually publish a report on its website, in its Academic Catalog, and in all promotional publications, that provides information about our education for prospective students. The report will include:

  1. The number of students from each graduating class who applied to and obtain or were offered placement in a Graduate Medical Education (GME) program accredited by the American Osteopathic Association or the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or the military, and the number of students from each graduating class who applied to and were unable to obtain placement in an accredited medical program.
  2. The number of students who sought placement in GME and were successful is obtained from the AACOM Annual Report as used to prepare the “GME Accountability Report” in COCA Standard 8.3. This is the value that will be published by ACOM.
  3. The first time pass rate of our graduates on the COMLEX-USA Level 3 exam.
