This is ACOM’s first campus expansion, and represents tremendous opportunities for growth. The 3,823-square-foot research center includes multiple stations and rooms, featuring state-of-the-art equipment for microscopy, tissue culture and bench research. The 11,840-square-foot TBL center provides a expansive room supported by the latest technology to conduct  team-based curricular events, with capacity for more than 600 people. The TBL center will also host institutional events, including Clerkship Fair and Hospital Day. ACOM announced its pursuit of this expansion in May, 2014, and began developing plans to create a comprehensive research space. The college has been conducting TBL activities in the curriculum during the past two years, and identified a greater need to further expand the campus to include a dedicated space for these events. These centers will enhance education and faculty endeavors for years to come.
